Authors Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness talked about creating an animation project Netflixwhich was released on July 8th.
The plot develops between the fourth and fifth parts, when Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield are facing a new bioweapons crisis. And each for his part is trying to find answers to all questions.
The main characters were voiced by actors from the remake Resident evil 2, they also tell a lot about the work on Infinite Darkness. Nick Apostolides and Stephanie Panisello were happy to return to the characters again, as they were allowed to see the development of the characters, and the actors themselves love this universe.
Due to the fact that the artists were already familiar with the characters, the process of capturing the movements on set was easier – although it resembled working on a full-fledged game.
Producer Eiichiro Hasumi noted that he had not yet had to work on such a project (created only with the help of computer graphics), but since the authors wanted to emphasize the drama of what was happening, he was not surprised that he was involved in the creation. And the author also added that such a story could easily be turned into a full-fledged series with actors.
In turn, the authors of the animation tried to convey the feeling that what was happening was being filmed with a real camera, and in general they were striving for realism.
