Indie Megabooth stops working – for now temporary – review

Project Indie megabooth announced a complete cessation of work for the period of the coronavirus pandemic. IBM has a very small team, which is difficult to cope with the current situation. And the management decided to put the health of participants at the forefront.
Nevertheless, the project will last until the end of April. The organizers want to prepare and conduct the final (so far) sale in Steam entitled Going Away (for now) Sale. It will be held from May 5 to 12, and it will feature more than a hundred games by independent developers.

For nine years, Indie Megabooth served as a mobile showcase for independent developers: with their help, they could present their projects at a variety of gaming exhibitions and events. The last exhibition in which the project participated was PAX East 2023.

With the massive closure of all social events, IBM can no longer fulfill its primary role. And now, with the help of the final sale and the “Pay as you want” campaign, the organizers are trying to raise money to fulfill their financial obligations and cease operations for an indefinite period.

At IMB’s booths, in particular, games were shown Mutazione, Elsinore and Creature in the well.
