An illustration of a world map from a popular role-playing game was discovered in a Ukrainian geography textbook for 6th grade students The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrimdeveloped by the company Bethesda, the Ukrainian press reports. Network users paid attention to a funny blunder.
The map is printed in the “Earth on Plan and Map” section next to the globe image.
The Skyrim map itself can be found on page 37 of the textbook, which was released in 2014. It is worth noting that it was recommended by the Ministry of Education of Ukraine and published for public funds.
Earlier this week, information about another unusual find in the Ukrainian textbook circled the network – this time on world history for the tenth grade (edition of 2018, released with public funds).
A meme with Keanu Reeves was discovered in it – the actor was attached to the photograph “Dinner at a Skyscraper” (1932), where he was next to the workers erecting a skyscraper in New York.
As the author of the textbook Igor Schupak later explained, he decided to add a picture to the textbook specifically – he wanted to draw the attention of modern children to the subject and at the same time check them for attention.
“I remembered how in the late 1990s a portrait of Octavian Augustus with the caption“ Julius Caesar ”was placed in one study guide. For many years of using the book, I noticed this and wrote about it … zero readers. This example I have a lot I’ve cited years of teaching lectures and seminars. “
As a result, it turned out that there were not so many attentive. Almost no one noticed Keanu Reeves in two years.
“Unfortunately, for 2 years of using the book, this meme was seen only now. By the way, one of the first who turned out to be observant was the 10th grade student A.F., who wrote about Reeves in the textbook at the end of 2019. I am very grateful to this I’ll send an observant high school student books that I hope will be interesting and useful for him in training, ”Schupak concluded.
At the end, the author of the textbook added that the book still contains some memes and unusual details in the illustrations. He invited students and readers to try to find them.
