During presentation EA Play 2023 studio developers Respawn entertainment announced that Apex legends will be released on Nintendo Switch and in Steam this fall already. At the same time, the battle royale will finally get cross-display support between all platforms.
In addition, from June 23 to July 7, the game will host the collectible event Lost Treasures. Gamers are waiting for the temporary regime “Armed and dangerous: new version”, where only shotguns, snipers and EVO armor will be available, and revival beacons will be removed from the map.
Instead of revival beacons, the authors presented a new equipment – mobile revival beacons. They can be summoned to almost anywhere on the map and use the banner of the fallen ally to return him to battle.
When the event ends, mobile spawn beacons will be added to the Apex Legends general loot list for regular and ranking matches.
Finally, players are waiting for new captured lands – a station with a Crypto map – an exclusive reward system with two legendary weapon colors, new rare skins and talismans, as well as 24 thematic items.
