In St. Petersburg, they continue to fight with the anime: A blow has been struck on “Tokyo Ghoul”, “The Riddle of the Devil” and “Assassin Class”

The Moscow District Court of St. Petersburg continues its war with Japanese animation and manga. According to media reports, this time the anime was declared banned by the prosecutor’s office. “The devil’s riddle“(Akuma no Riddle), “Tokyo ghoul“(Tokyo ghoul), as well as TV series and manga “Assassin class“(Ansatsu Kyoushitsu), but only on two sites, namely YummyAnime and jut.su.

What exactly the prosecutor’s office did not like the animation shows and manga, the press service does not specify. At the same time, experts have previously carefully analyzed such series as “Inuyashiki“and”Death note“. They saw malicious connotations, including “the idea of destructive principles“and”hints of unconventional sexual relations“.

The St. Petersburg prosecutor’s office told the TASS agency that the decision to ban the above-mentioned works on certain sites was made due to the absence of age restrictions on viewing such content on the latter.

“The experts in the conclusions voiced at the court sessions came to the conclusion that such cartoons can negatively affect the psyche of children,” writes TASS.

At the same time, it is interesting that in the open spaces of the Russian Internet there are still sites dedicated to anime, where there is no information on age restrictions on the pages of the series. However, they did not appear in the suit of the prosecutor’s office.
