Paradox Interactive and Romero games published a new video on Empire of Sinin which they said that one of the playable characters in turn-based strategy will be Elvira Duarte – great-grandmother of John Romero, co-founder of Romero Games and one of the creators of the game.

According to Romero, his great-grandmother lived in Nogales, Mexico, where she managed three brothels for about 20 years. In the end, she won the lottery, sold her business and retired.

In the game, Elvira Duarte has the ability called Devil’s Breath (“Devil’s Breath”). She exhales violet smoke in the face of the enemy and takes control of her for three moves. After these three moves, the possessed enemy dies.
