James Cameron suddenly announced that his “Avatar” will once again be released in film distribution – however, only in China.
Starting Friday, March 12th, viewers will again be able to watch the fantastic picture of 2009 in 3D and Imax. A re-release of the tape could also bring it back to the top spot among the highest grossing films.
Earlier, the collection of Cameron’s painting was bypassed. “Avengers: Endgame” – the first in the “pocket” had 2 billion 790 million dollars, while the second collected at the box office 2 billion 797 million dollars. In order to regain the winning spot, Avatar needs at least $ 7.4 million.
The release of the tape is connected with China’s plan to restore film distribution after the pandemic – and part of it is precisely the re-releases of major blockbusters.
