Igarashi Apologizes: Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night Won’t Get a Random Dungeon Mode

Subway Developers Bloodstained: ritual of the night decided to review their plans to support the game, which were originally presented at Kickstarter page.

As part of the fundraising campaign, the team promised to add a five million dollar bagel mode. The goal has been achieved, but the promise will not be fulfilled.

According to the original idea, the players were invited to explore the procedurally generated castle. As the project leader explained in a new blog Koji Igarashi, in the early stages of development, the team did not anticipate that there would be random locations in Bloodstained.

After a few years, developers can’t make friends with the game code with this type of gameplay. For this, Igarashi apologized to gamers, and also said that instead of a random castle, they will have free access to the regime Randomizer.

This is a standard Ritual of the Night storyline campaign, but at the very beginning you can select eight parameters that will be randomly generated. For example, you can configure the probability of falling necessary items from chests. A timer is also available that tracks the running time.
