This summer The Konstantin Khabensky Charitable Foundation and Cybersport.ru carried out a joint project as part of a social campaign #creating… For several months, we told the stories of six children who know firsthand what oncology is. Cybersport.ru readers and e-sports organizations treated the guys warmly: there were many pleasant words of support in the comments, which were also joined by e-sports clubs.

Every one of our heroes is a big fan of esports or video games, these hobbies helped teenagers to cope with a difficult stage in life and gave strength to move on. In an interview with us, they were happy to talk about their favorite teams and players. Our first hero Maxim Evdokimov, for example, is a big fan Natus Vincere, he always dreamed of a club hoodie and an autograph of his idols. In the comments under the article about Maxim, you wrote a lot about getting this information to NAVI. We gave the Ukrainian club the story of Maxim, and NAVI sent him personalized gifts.
Seryozha Pushkarev received a present along with an autograph of his favorite Overwatch player George ShaDowBurn Gush…
Dima Klevko, who seriously intends to conquer the professional Fortnite scene, received gifts from two teams at once – Gambit and Virtus.pro… Now Dima hopes that he will soon meet his idols on the battlefield in the “royal battle”.
Another NAVI fan, Dima Petrovsky, also received a gift from Natus Vincere – a personalized CS: GO t-shirt. Now Dima, who also dreams of becoming an e-sportsman and being like s1mple, does not part with the shirt.
Happy photos in a bomber jacket from the lineup Gambit Esports on Fortnite shared with us and Vova Gribkov. As his mother said, for him it is now “the best jacket in the world, and he wears it without taking it off.”
Only Zakhar Ovsyannikov, who left for Moscow to study and missed his package, has not yet reached his gift, she is waiting for him with her parents in her hometown.
Cybersport.ru would like to thank the esports clubs Natus Vincere, Virtus.pro and Gambit, who supported the guys and responded to the offer to please our heroes with gifts. The editors are also grateful to the fans of these clubs and our readers who wrote many nice words of support in the comments. We hope that social campaign #creating helped many of you to look differently at oncology and proved that cancer is not a death sentence, the main thing is not to give up.
The Cybersport.ru editors sincerely believe that soon we will write more than once about the guys from the Khabensky Foundation, when they fulfill their dreams and, for example, make their way onto the cybersport scene and win their first trophy!
