When Playstation 5 unveiled last year, its design has become one of the most talked about aspects of the console. The unusual shape of the box with wavy white panels seemed to many, among other things, similar to modern routers, and there were even those who decided to use this feature in a funny way to their advantage.
On one of the Vietnamese social network groups Facebook there was a story about how a local family man who wanted a PS5 for himself, decided to hide the purchase from his wife by presenting the new Sony console as a router 5G Wi-Fi…
To carry out the plan to sneak the PS5 into the house, the owner instructed the store clerk to deliver the console and install it under the guise of a technician in the uniform of a local ISP Viettel… Moreover, to make it more convincing, the seller stuck a phony sticker on the side panel of the case with the contact details of the after-sales service for the “router” in order to further allay any suspicions that the buyer’s wife might have.
Apparently, the now happy owner of PS5 had to go to such a clever deception because of his wife’s inseparable views on his gaming habits. However, putting it all online may have been a mistake, as the story quickly went viral and now threatens to be revealed.
