The Hulu service ordered the continuation of the series “How I Met your mother“(2005-2014) – the novelty was named”How I Met Your Dad”, And the main role went to Hilary Duff.
The narrative structure will be faithful to the original – in the near future, Sophie (Duff) tells her son how she met his father, after which the plot begins returning to 2023, when the girl and her friends were trying to find themselves.
It is not yet known how the sequel will relate to the original show – if at all.
The showrunners of How I Met Your Mother will executive produce the sequel, while the new show is written by Uptaker and Elizabeth Berger, known for their dramaThis is us“.
