Horizon Zero Dawn Released On Steam And Epic Games Store – Sony Celebrates PC Release Of Former PS4 Exclusive With A Trailer

Three years after launching on PlayStation 4 Horizon zero dawn got to the PC. On release to the project Guerrilla Games played by more than 50 thousand users Steam at the same time.

According to SteamDB, Horizon Zero Dawn’s player count peaked at 56,557 in just an hour and a half. And that’s not considering the version for Epic Games Store

The data obtained was enough for the game to get into the top ten most popular games on Steam. Horizon Zero Dawn sits just below Team Fortress 2 and Destiny 2, surpassing Warframe’s peak user base.

The Complete Edition has been released on PC, which includes The Frozen Wilds add-on and several special in-game items.

Horizon Zero Dawn is priced at RUB 2,800 on EGS and Steam. Interestingly, in the latter case, a standard DRM solution is used for protection. Apparently, the publisher ditched Denuvo for the sake of performance.

Mediocre optimization also played a role in this. It looks like Sony didn’t want to burden the PC version of Horizon Zero Dawn with additional technical problems.
