According to Weisberg, the streaming service is very interested in acquiring the picture, but the director himself is trying to do everything to make it appear in the cinema. He especially noted that he wants to see the film on the Russian market, because it “will arouse great interest among our cinema audience.”
The director added that in the film he created several homages to the original, and also took from it a lyrical-festive atmosphere. But at the same time, the new film will be “completely different.”
The main roles in the picture are performed Emma Roberts (American Horror Story) and Lewis Tan (“Mortal Kombat”). Also in the tape are Thomas Mann, Garrett Hedlund and Britt Robertson. Tiffany Paulsen (“Couple for the Holidays”).
There is no exact date for the premiere of the film yet.
