Hideo Kojima worked on episodic horror for Stadia – canceled

Details of the internal kitchen continue to appear on the network. Google Stadia after the recent closure of the corporation’s own studios.

As it turned out, Hideo Kojima began developing an episodic horror that could fully use the platform’s features, but the deal in 2023 was thwarted by the head of Stadia Phil Harrison for unknown reasons.

In the spring of last year, Kojima was just telling that his next game was canceled, which makes him “furious”.

In addition, the material informs about the cancellation of two more projects: a large-scale continuation Journey to the Savage Planet and multiplayer action Francois Pellanda, who previously worked at Ubisoft on the original Splinter Cell, Assassin’s Creed Syndicate and South Park: The Fractured But Whole.

At the same time, the creators of Rock Band and Fuser from Harmonix are still working on an unannounced Stadia exclusive and are not afraid of the potential closure of the project – in the worst case, they will just release it on other platforms.
