Online Comic-con channel HBO showed the trailer for the second season of the series “Dark beginnings”based on a series of books by Philip Pullman “Northern Lights”.
As expected, the continuation was based on the second novel of the cycle, that is “Wonderful Knife”. The main character Lyra finds herself in a new world – the city of Cittagazze, full of sinister Ghosts that kill adults.
There she also meets the boy Will, who is looking for his father – and his fate is connected with that very knife, capable of opening doors to other worlds.
The second season will premiere in the fall. The main roles in the series were played by Daphne Keane (“Logan”), James McAvoy (Split, X-Men: First Class) and Ruth Wilson (“Luther”). In the second season, Andrew Scott (“Sherlock”)…
The second season will have seven episodes instead of eight, since the filming of one of them could not be completed due to the coronavirus.
