Channel HBO extended the series “Perry Mason” for the second season even before the end of the first.
This is not too surprising news, given that the project’s debut season was the channel’s largest premiere in recent years.
The project tells about the literary hero of detective stories Earl Gardner, however, in the new version, the character’s story was slightly changed. Here he is not a lawyer, but a private investigator. The series itself takes place in the 1930s.
The season 1 finale will air on HBO on August 9, while the second season’s premiere date is still unknown.
