Halo series will lose its second showrunner – Igromania

The hollywood reporter citing his own sources, reports that a few weeks after the end of filming in Budapest, the series on Halo will lose the second showrunner.

As it turned out, the first showrunner Kyle Killen (Lone Star, Awakening) left the project at the end of 2019. This happened months after he asked to hire a second showrunner to oversee production in Budapest so that Killen himself could focus on script and editing.

Second showrunner Stephen Kane (The Last Ship, Snoop) was hired in March 2019 and did supervise filming in Budapest, but will now leave the show after production ends.

THR notes that if the series is renewed for a second season, producers will have to start looking for a new showrunner.

Recall that the main roles in the show were played by Pablo Schreiber (Master Chief), Jen Taylor (Cortana) and Natasha McElhone (Dr. Catherine Halsey). The series will be released in the first quarter of 2023 only on streaming service Paramount +
