“Green Knight” from the author of “Ghost Stories” was postponed indefinitely

Studio A24 postponed the premiere Legends of the Green Knight from the director Ghost Stories David Lowry indefinitely.

The tape was to be released at the foreign box office on May 29, and in ours – June 11. Now, because of the coronavirus pandemic, the picture does not yet have a release date.

The film is a fantastic rethinking of the legend of Sir Gawain and the Green Knight. In the story, Gawain makes a bet with a strange knight who offers to hit him with an ax – and if he remains intact, then in a year he can strike back.

Despite the fact that Gawain cuts off the knight’s head, he suddenly returns it to its place, at the same time a reminder of the conditions of the bet. Further history is devoted to Gawain’s journey to the Green Chapel and the various trials he encounters along the way.

The main role in the film Dev Patel (“Slumdog Millionaire”), will also play in the tape Alicia Vikander (Lara Croft) and Joel Edgerton (“It Comes at Night”).
