Closed beta this week Marvel’s avengers made it to the Xbox One family consoles. However, the situation with optimization, even here, remains far from ideal.
Version for Xbox one uses dynamic resolution, which ranges from 720p to 1080p. But the latter is usually recorded only during cutscenes, which negatively affects performance.
Xbox One X boasts two modes. The first (4K) uses a dynamic resolution that ranges from 2112×1188 pixels to 3840×2160 (fair 4K). On average, the game produces 2880×1620 pixels.
In the second mode, the resolution does not exceed 1080p, because the priority is given to performance. However, this does not save gamers, because in all versions of the Avengers they manage to sag up to 20 frames per second, and you should completely forget about stable 30 and 60 frames per second.
As the YouTube blog VG Tech notes, all variants use low-res alpha effects. At the same time, in the cutscenes on Xbox One, you can see strange artifacts that are not on the Xbox One X.
