Google Stadia Cloud Service Now Available on Xbox Consoles

Streaming game service Google Stadia now works on Microsoft consoles. This became possible after the company released a test assembly of a new browser based on Edge Chromium

According to The Verge, the updated Microsoft Edge web browser is already available on Xbox one, Xbox series x and Xbox series s testers of the Alpha Skip-Ahead group. With improved support for Chromium compatibility, the browser can now run Stadia and allows the owner of Xbox consoles to have access to the service’s cloud game library

At the same time, as noted by journalist Brad Sams from the Thurrott website, in the future, a new version of Edge on Xbox may even allow console users to stream games through the company’s own cloud service. xCloudas soon as Microsoft publicly adds web browser support.
