Game producer Nobuyuki Okajima presented the gameplay of the project, noting that the development team has a lot of work ahead. The graphics in the game are not final, and there is no voice acting in the current assembly. Release Earth defense force 6 expected in the second half of 2023. The platforms have not yet been officially announced, but the game will presumably be released on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, or simply on PlayStation 5.
The plot develops three years after the events of Earth Defense Force 5, when the situation for the EDF troops and Earth in general has deteriorated significantly. Of the interesting things, it is worth noting that buildings can be completely destroyed with the help of rocket launchers, and giant aliens can be detached from limbs.
