One foot from the grave: The long-suffering Dead Island 2 seems to have become a crossgen game

On the website Dambuster studios, which was given the development of a long-suffering zombie action Dead island 2appeared updated job list. It turned out to be noteworthy that in the description of the post of art director found mention of the proposed platforms of the expected project.

It is in this vacant position (a total of ten are represented on the website) that the work on “the long-awaited zombie sequel, which will be available for both the current and the next generation of consoles”.

Of course, this information is not a 100% confirmation, but, nevertheless, is a rather convincing indicator that Dead island 2 will be a crossgen game. Given the fact that the project has been developed for quite a long time, and Dambuster Studios became the third studio (after Yager Development and Sumo Digital), which was entrusted with the creation of the action movie, it is not surprising that the next-generation consoles will be released faster than the release Dead Island 2.

Despite the fact that the media holding Koch Media calls Dead Island a very important brand, nothing has been told about the second part for a long time.

Announcement Dead island 2 held in 2014. Originally planned to release the game in 2015 on the PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
