Studio Sucker Punch Productions has officially announced on the PlayStation blog that it is working on an action movie Ghost of stushimareleased last year exclusively on PS4.
The film will be filmed in collaboration with Sony Pictures under the direction of the director. Chada Stahelski, on account of which the trilogy of action movies “John Wick“with Keanu Reeves… According to the company, the original vision of the director, coupled with his many years of experience, will create combat scenes of an incredible level.
“If anyone can bring the ringing tension of a katana fight to the screen, it is Chad Stahelski. The very idea of adapting our game in film is exciting! We are looking forward to the result with great anticipation.”
Creative director Sucker Punch Nate Fox Express gratitude to the Ghost of Tsushima players, noting that it was the huge community support that gave the studio the opportunity to bring Jin Sakai’s adventure to the big screens.
Along with this, it was announced that sales of the original Ghost of Stushima have reached over 6.5 million copies… About half of the players completed the entire project.
The film does not have a start date or release date yet.
