According to Lucier, the authors created two versions of the second film and came up with a general plan for the triquel. At the end of the story, the viewers had to be given answers to questions from the first tape and close the plot, somehow looping it.
In the sequel, they were supposed to introduce new heroes, reveal details about the state of the future, a new version Skynet and the character played Matt smith… According to the author, the sequels were supposed to be crazier than the first film, departing from the usual aesthetics of the franchise.
In 2018, the actor Jason Clarke mentioned that Genesis sequel should have told more about the new version John Connorcaptured by Skynet. Lucier also hinted that the sequel’s debut scene was supposed to be “very cool” – perhaps it would have shown Connor in it.
