Apparently, some time ago Microsoft involved in development Halo: Infinite specialists from the team The coalitionresponsible for the series Gears of war…
This is indicated by the information found in the resume of several employees of the “Coalition” on Linkedin… So, ex-environment artist Adam Bodden listed Halo: Infinite as one of the projects he worked on during his tenure at The Coalition until the end of 2023.
Another former employee of The Coalition, VFX artist Hugo Gutierrez Mares, also mentioned Halo: Infinite on his resume, explicitly pointing out that after finishing work on Gears 5, he participated in the creation of cinematics and the campaign for the last part of Halo.
Interestingly, both developers are design specialists.… Considering that the first demonstration of Halo: Infinite was criticized primarily for the visual, it was quite reasonable for Microsoft to pull up some developers from its other internal studio to improve the game, especially since Gears 5 really pleased with a beautiful picture.
Halo Infinite is due out this fall on Xbox Series X / S, Xbox One and PC.
