The GLAAD Media Awards is an annual ceremony organized by the American Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation, which honors various branches of the media for the most accurate, honest and inclusive portrayal of LGBT people and their concerns. Awards are presented in the fields of film, television, theater, music, journalism, advertising and, more recently, video games.
