Magazine Forbes published an annual rating of the richest businessmen in Russia. Mostly the presidents of well-known companies take places in it – but they are not interesting to us. At 34 and 35 places were the founders of the game studio Playrix.
Brothers Dmitry and Igor Bukhmany first hit the ranking Forbes. According to estimates of the publication, the condition of each is evaluated in $ 3.1 billion. They founded their company Playrix in 2004 in Vologda. The main activity of the studio is the development of shareware mobile games. Among the most famous: Fishdom and Gardenscapes.
As of 2023, more than two thousand employees are working at Playrix.
In the spring of 2019, another business publication, Bloomberg, called Playrix founders were the first Russian billionaire game developers.
