From May 8, movie theaters will gradually open in Hong Kong – review

Thanks to concessions from the authorities, cinemas will gradually open in Hong Kong on May 8.

Starting this Friday, local audiences will be able to return to the halls again. True, it is not a fact that many will even want to do this. The repertoire will include various projects, including some past Asian and American paintings.

The number of tapes will include cartoon “Trolls. World Tourdue to which Universal recently got into a scandal with American movie networks. Also, the studio will launch a picture from May 14 “Emma”although both of these projects are already digitally available.

Cinema owners will nevertheless have to regulate the number of visitors, selling only part of the tickets for the sessions. The same applies to other cultural and sports facilities – they will be allowed to work only if the number of visitors does not exceed 50% of the maximum occupancy.
