Fresh details of the Nintendo Switch Pro leaked from China – old gamepads will do – Igromania

Nintendo has not yet presented a more powerful Switchhowever, an accessory maker from China has shared fresh details on the model.

As reported in the leaks, the Pro model uses an OLED screen with virtually no bezels – no exact dimensions are specified, but a 7-inch display was previously reported. At the same time, current gamepads, including the Joy-Con, are compatible with the new product.

The current Switch’s small stand will be replaced with a full-width wide bumper, inspired by Microsoft’s Surface tablets. Under it is a slot for a Micro SD memory card.

The docking station will be able to display images in 4K and will be slightly smaller – two USB inputs will be upgraded from 2.0 to 3.0 and will add an ethernet port.

The stand for the new Switch will look something like this

The release in Europe, according to the manufacturer, is expected at the end of November, but the initial circulation will be very limited. The console should be presented before the start of E3 in mid-June – according to media reports, the Pro-model will replace the standard Switch model.
