Free Fire Battle Royale Hits Google Play Store – Celebration Event Announced

Company Garena announced that Free fire crossed the mark in 1 billion downloads in Google play store

As the developers emphasize, Free Fire was the first mobile battle royale to achieve such an impressive result in the Google app store (previously only a few mobile games of other genres achieved such indicators).

To celebrate this achievement and thank the community of players, Garena will launch a special in-game event in August. It will take place in parallel with the celebration of the fourth birthday of Free Fire: details will soon appear on the game’s social networks.

As the developers recall, in 2023, Free Fire held grandiose joint activities with popular brands and celebrities both in and outside the game. Highlights: Collaborations with a racing team Mclaren racing, a legendary fighting game Street fighter v, anime One-punch man and “Attack of the Titans“, popular performers from the CIS Aljay, Jah Khalib and others.

In addition, Free Fire Battle Royale has become part of the esports competition. According to Esports Charts, recent tournament Free Fire World Series 2023 Singapore peaked in concurrent viewers in 5.4 million people, excluding Chinese streaming services, which set a new record in the history of global esports.

Free Fire is available to download for free on the App Store and Google Play
