Blogger HYPEX toldthat transition Fortnite on Unreal Engine 5 will happen at the beginning of the next season – that is, around September 12th.
Battle Royale will be the first game based on the new Epic Games engine, however, nothing has been reported about specific technical innovations – it is unlikely that the game will change much right away, but certain improvements will certainly be implemented.
At the same time, the blogger said that enthusiasts should start exploring the new engine – the developers are planning to add full-fledged custom modifications.
The closest Fortnite event will be Ariana Grande’s concert – it will be held five times at a time convenient for different regions:
- August 7 at 01:00 UTC
- August 7th at 21:00 Moscow time
- August 8th at 7:00 am MSK
- August 8 at 19:00 Moscow time
- August 9th at 01:00 Moscow time.
