Former IGN Editor: Ratchet & Clank’s New Part in Development for the PlayStation 5 and Possibly Goes to Launch the Console

Studio Insomniac games is developing a new part Ratchet & clank for Playstation 5. Information about this in a conversation with a co-host of a podcast Sacred Symbols + shared an industrial journalist and former editor IGN Colin Moriarty.

He noted that the game will appear before the Marvel’s Spider-Man sequel and may become one of the PS5 starting titles.

“Between the release of Spider-Man 2018 and its sequel, we will get a new Ratchet & Clank part for the PlayStation 5. I have a feeling that this will be the starting title. The game has long been under development at Insomniac.”

These are not Moriarty’s first words about the continuation of Ratchet & Clank. The fact that the Insomniac Games team is working on a new game in the series, the journalist first said back in April last year, but then it was a game for the PS4. Perhaps, over the past time, Sony plans have changed or we are waiting for a cross-release.

The latest franchise game was released in 2016. It was a remake of the very first part for the PlayStation 4. Read our review here..
