Adjustment: The part about ARPG and MMO concerned the first version Diablo 3rather than additions.
The author had a document in his hands that described new mechanics, classes, locations and elements of the story. However, fresh content was never put into production. Brevik added that, according to his recollections, a new class was supposed to appear in the expansion – the cleric.
The developer said that he worked on the material for 6-12 months before leaving Blizzard North. All this happened even before the release of patch 1.10, and then the team was working on their version Diablo 3 (later restarted it Blizzard Entertainment) and another unannounced project.
