Director of the new Batman movie Matt Reeves showed a first look at Robert Pattinson in the costume of the Dark Knight. The video uploaded to Vimeo is a camera test recorded by a picture operator Greg Fraser to the music of the composer Michael Giaccino.
The video lasts no more than a minute, but gives a good enough idea for the first time about Batman’s armor. In the 55-second video, Pattinson slowly appears in the frame, leaving the darkness in a room with red lighting. The camera at this moment focuses on the metal symbol of the bat embedded in the breastplate of the suit, after which the angle gradually changes, showing the shoulder part of the armor and the Batman mask.
Filming started in early January and is not yet completed.. In addition to Pattinson, the film also includes Colin Farrell (Penguin), John Turturro (Carmine Falcone), Jeffrey Wright (Commissioner James Gordon), Andy Serkis (Alfred), Zoe Kravitz (Catwoman), Paul Dano (Mysterious), Peter Sarsgaard ( District Attorney Jill Colson) and others.
The premiere of the tape is scheduled for June 24, 2023.
