Final Fantasy XIV Banned Nearly 6,000 Accounts For Trading With Real Money

Developers from the studio Square enix banned almost 6 thousand accounts Final fantasy xiv for trading with real money. The authors believe that trading with real money disturbs the balance of the MMORPG, and therefore is prohibited by the terms and conditions.

For participating in trading for real money, the MMORPG developers banned 5,037 accounts, and another 814 accounts were banned for advertising such trading. These bans were issued from February 25 to March 3.

In addition, the authors recalled that any player can report real money trading advertisements through the in-game complaints system by right-clicking on a character’s name in the chat.

Previously, the developers of Final Fantasy XIV said that they plan to support the game for at least another five years. Square Enix announced an expansion in February Endwalker and nextgen version of MMORPG for PS5. Both releases are expected in the fall.
