Fan strategy game in the Half-Life universe came out of beta after 13 years of development

Developers from the team Vortal storm announced that Lambda wars, fan-made real-time strategy game in the universe Half-lifefinally exited beta.

Development of Lambda Wars began back in 2007. The project is based on the code Alien swarm, a free top-down co-op action movie released by Valve in 2010.

In the 1.0 update, Lambda Wars players will have 4 new units, 2 new buildings and new models for existing buildings, as well as balance changes and bug fixes.

The main features of Lambda Wars:

  • farkts Alliance and Resistance (and Antlions in sandbox mode);
  • multiplayer and many maps with support for up to 8 players or bots;
  • single missions, training map and offline game with bots;
  • and much more.
