EA decided to allow BioWare abandon all plans for the introduction of multiplayer and service component in Dragon age 4 – the game will be strictly narrative and for a single passage.
This is reported by Jason Schreier in an article for Bloomberg.
There are two reasons for this: huge success Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Orderthat surpassed the publisher’s sales expectations for being a strictly single player and story-driven game, and a deafening failure Anthem… The restart of the latter was just recently canceled.
