Faefever’s detective free adventure is out on Steam – review addiction

Independent studio Monkey Wizard Entertainment released in Steam my debut work, adventure quest Faefever. The game is completely free and features an atmospheric soundtrack and hand-drawn graphics. It will take a couple of hours to complete.

Faefever’s heroine is the disgraced journalist Alice Taylor, who is investigating the mysterious disappearances of people in a small Scottish town. She collects evidence and talks with local residents, and soon it begins to seem to her that they are all as one trying to hide the secret of the loss.

The developers focus on storytelling: all puzzles are story-driven, and many of them can be solved in different ways. The game has multiple endings, which means that all the secrets of the town of Glenrock will only be revealed after a few playthroughs.

Young game designers started working on Faefever while still at university. And their project has already won several Swedish gaming awards, including best storytelling.
