Exit the Gungeon Review | Gamemag

A game Exit the gungeon is an offshoot of the popular bullet hell project Enter the gungeon – Offers far less content and tactical capabilities, but retains a bit of the magic of the original.

Having reached the heart of the Arms, you must break out, fighting off the strange inhabitants of the rapidly collapsing world.

After going through humorous training, which adds a vertical somersault to the usual set of hero abilities, you can change the character to a more suitable one in spirit and go to the nearest exit.

Levels in Exit the Gungeon are assembled into a chain of repeating solutions and are shown with a side view.

First, you ride the elevator, destroying opponents, then you enter the room with the enemies and after that you again take the elevator to the next room, fighting a random boss of the level on the way, after which you will have a respite from the store or mini-games.

And everything repeats again.

Your main means of survival is a somersault, which makes the character invulnerable to enemy shells and bullets.

In emergency situations, when a somersault does not help, you can use a special bomb that will clear the screen of enemy shells.

Defeating your enemies gives you random chests with bonus equipment. This can be an increase in life cells, a decrease in damage, or other improvements that help in the progress.

As for weapons, they can no longer be picked up or improved. Thanks to the ideas of the developers and a local blessing or curse, it changes randomly every 30 seconds.

And in this set of sudden guns lies the main disappointment.

You are no longer in control of the situation, and if a second ago a character shot from a laser gun, then with the advent of the boss, the weapon can change to soap bubbles with a limited radius of action.
