Developers from the studio SCS Software added to Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator official support for multiplayer. While the innovation is available in experimental beta branches.
Multiplayer came in the form of Convoy mode, where players can create private sessions with support for up to 8 people. The lobby can be password protected. Artificial intelligence, time of day and weather will be synchronized, and players have the opportunity to take on the same job and communicate on the radio.
After a Convoy session, players can revert to a previous save if they didn’t like what happened to their truck, cargo, or wallet in multiplayer.
