Epic reports that from today until May 21 it will periodically require users to enable two-factor authentication in order to receive free games in the Epic Games Store. Thus, the company is trying to push players to increase the security of their account.
“If two-factor authentication is not included in your account, then when you try to get a free game, you will see a warning,” writes Epic.
To enable two-factor authentication, you need to go into the account settings and add a request for an additional security code when entering the system.
The Epic Games Store is currently distributing For the King strategy. The game can be picked up until April 30, and after users of the store will be available Crashlands and Amnesia: The Dark Descent.
