Yesterday Sony Interactive Entertainment introduced the official PlayStation 5 controller, DualSense. Developers from two studios commented on its features.
So, a leading audio engineer Naughty Dog Robert Crackel already tested the prototype of the controller and noted that DualSense allows you to “very cool” integrate sound into the gameplay thanks to the new technology of tactile feedback.
In turn, the founder Ready at Dawn Andrea Pessino considers DualSense is an amazing controller that gives hands new sensations when playing. This is probably again about tactile feedback technology.
“This controller is simply amazing – wait and you will feel it yourself,” the developer wrote.
PlayStation 5 starts in autumn 2023.
