Dragon Ball FighterZ is still popular and continues to receive DLC – Bandai Namco revealed fighting game sales

Publishing house Bandai namco and developers from the studio Arc system works Revealed Global Sales Data Dragon Ball FighterZ. Released in January 2018, the fighting game sold over 5 million copies. This was announced by the official account of the game on Twitter.

This sales metric also includes digital versions of the game. In honor of this landmark achievement, from May 21 to May 28, players will be able to receive in-game currency and special avatars for the lobby.

Not so long ago for Dragon Ball FighterZ as a DLC was added new character Goku in the form of “Completed Ultra Instinct” (Ultra Instinct Goku). It is planned that as part of the additional content of the third season, three more characters will replenish the game.

Release date Dragon Ball FighterZ took place on January 28, 2018 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and the port for Nintendo Switch appeared in September of the same year.

At the end of May 2019 Arc system works released another fighting game – Granblue Fantasy Versus, and is currently developing Guilty gear strike, which is planned to be released in the first half of 2023. The release of the latter was recently delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
