DOOM Eternal’s creative director talks about woman as Doom Slayer

I wonder how that would affect Glory Kills and the weapons she would have. The fighting style would certainly still be completely aggressive, but it would be a different type of aggression. I would aim for this to impact the gameplay in a meaningful way. In fact, I’ve thought about it a lot.

When it comes to action design, you think, “If the Doom Slayer is a Ferrari, who would the woman be in that role? Who would a medieval Doom Slayer be? What impact would that have, and what analogies would you draw from this to allow them to influence the experience? ” It would definitely be cool.
