Officially, this announcement has not yet been, but the developers themselves see this as a “logical” step.

I’m eager to see what results can be achieved with new platforms “said Marty Stratton, Game Development Manager, in an interview with Metro. Platform owners promise amazing things related to hardware, so it’s logical to try to master them and, frankly, try to become developers of one of the best games on the next generation platforms. “
The release of DOOM Eternal will take place on March 20th on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC and Google Stadia cloud platform. Later, the game will also visit the Nintendo Switch.
