Bethesda released two sets of cosmetic equipment for DOOM Eternal, although even before the release promised the absence of microtransactions in the shooter.
There are now two kits available for purchase:
- “Unicorn“(359 rubles) – it was handed out to Prime subscribers on Twitch at the release
- “First episode“(644 rubles) – equipment that could be obtained for completing tasks during the first year. There are skins, and colors of weapons, and animations, and icons, and plates.
This is at odds with the promises of DOOM Eternal creative director Hugo Martin.
“There will be no store in the game. DOOM Eternal sells for $ 60. This is not a shareware or mobile game. We give you a complete game without a store – everything is as you expect. You can unlock skins if that’s important to you, or you can ignore them entirely. All this is free“.
Prior to that, in May last year, Bethesda released The Rip and Tear set (359 rubles) for sale – it included cosmetic bonuses that pre-ordered DOOM Eternal received.
