According to the publication The Times, criminals began to rob trucks from the PlayStation on the go, carefully approaching those in their cars.
In the standard scheme, several cars operate, two of which are kept on the sides of the truck, preventing its driver from maneuvering. In this case, one of the gang members, who is in the car behind, climbs out through the hatch, attaches himself with a rope to a moving truck and makes his way inside using the necessary tools, and then quickly transfers the goods to his car.
All this from the outside resembles footage from a Hollywood blockbuster “The fast and the furious“The technique of such robberies itself is far from new; a vivid example of the method can be seen in the video below from 2012.
It is reported that in 2023 alone, about 27 cases of such robberies occurred in Romania.
