However, due to the fact that FPS Boost requires more resources, Microsoft engineers had to lower resolutions on some Xbox Series X games for more consistent performance… This applies to Fallout 4 and Fallout 76. In them, the “boost” will not be available automatically – to activate it, the corresponding item is provided in the compatibility parameters through the game control section.
Microsoft also plans to announce more games with FPS Boost support in the coming weeks.
