Producer Colin Trevorrow announced on his Twitter page the start of filming of the third part “Jurassic World“. The full name of the new movie is Jurassic World: Dominion. The subtitle “Dominion” recalls a passage from the Bible that says that God has granted humanity dominion over the Earth. This, in turn, refers to the finale of the second film, in which dinosaurs fled from captivity to the open world.

Trevorrow returns to the director’s chair after Juan Antonio Bayonne led the production of the sequel. He is also listed as co-author of the script and executive producer along with Steven Spielberg. The main roles in the tape will again be performed Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard, the company which this time will be the old guard in the person of Sam Nill, Laura Dern and Jeff Goldblum from the original “Jurassic Park“1993 year.
The film will premiere on June 21, 2023.
