Capcom has dated the boxed action release Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition for Playstation 5 and Xbox series xSales of the improved and expanded version of the game on discs for the designated platforms will start 1st December

At the same time, the digital version of the reissue will be available at the launch of new consoles: November 10th for Xbox Series X / S and November 19th for PlayStation 5.

Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition will differ from the original with a playable Vergil, a turbo mode that significantly increases the speed of all animations, as well as an additional level of Legendary Dark Knight difficulty, where players will face large hordes of opponents.

In terms of technical innovations, the Special Edition will offer ray tracing, improved surround sound, reduced load times, and several modes of operation: 4K at 30 FPS with ray tracing, 1080p at 60 FPS with ray tracing and 1080p up to 120 FPS without ray tracing. In addition, the PS5 version will get support for the tactile features of the DualSense controller and will receive ray tracing at the start, while it will appear on the Xbox Series X later with a separate patch.

At the same time, only playable Vergil will be available from all this on PC and old consoles. It will be added as a paid DLC.
